ABout the happy surfers
The Happy Surfers was born after years of working in the surf and tourism industry in Taghazout.
Over time, we felt a strong desire to create something more meaningful, personal, and authentic, a space that truly reflects our passion and values.
Since 2021, we’ve been offering surf and yoga retreats, opening just a few weeks each year. But after sharing so many unforgettable moments with our amazing guests, we realised that a few weeks simply weren’t enough.
So, at the end of 2024, we took the big decision: The Happy Surfers is becoming a full-time surf and yoga camp, open almost all year round! This change was inspired by the incredible community that kept asking for more: more waves, more yoga, more time together.

In Morocco we know where to go and who to talk with. Seen as locals we get the best deals, we know the secret gems and we work with the best instructors and activity providers. You can trust us to show you the best spots and teach you surfing with the best techniques out there.

Meet the team!
Mo is a real people person and loves to show you everything about his home country. As a certified ISA surf instructor he will make you feel secure and looked after in the water, and show you the best surf spots depending on your level and the forecast of the day. After working as a surf manager for large international companies he knows well how to organize big groups of people with different needs and expectations.
Tito is the organizer. He loves to plan and host activities so everyone feels good and welcomed. As a Frenchman living in the cold Denmark, he fell in love with Morocco and the team during his first trip here. Used to travel and live abroad, he adapts to all cultures and nationalities.
Snow the moroccan husky is the love spreader. She loves to be a part of the pack and makes sure everyone are with us. She is happy no matter what as long as we are all together! Snow is born and raised in Morocco, currently living in Norway, but will always join the crew to make sure everyone are feeling loved!
